Remembering old friends today, old feline friends. They come into your life often not wanted, not invited, not needed. But there she was that morning. A tiny "tuxedo" cat. She was curled up asleep on the bench in our patio. I remember standing at the window seeing her there, so cute. She became my cat and I loved her dearly. She moved here to Oregon with me. She never adjusted to life in this house. She liked her normal life in Modesto. She loved Willie and he became her companion here. She would stick close to him outside because she was so afraid of everything. She rarely ventured off of the back deck. She is buried now in my pet cemetery. She was loved. RIP Maya
